Ichwan Noor

Ichwan Noor is an Indonesian contemporary artist based in Bandung, known for his striking three-dimensional sculptural works that merge pop culture iconography with geometric and spherical forms. He is perhaps best recognized for his Beetle Sphere series, in which he compresses Volkswagen Beetle cars into perfect spheres, exploring themes of consumerism, transformation, and the relationship between industrial objects and artistic form. His work has gained significant international recognition and has been exhibited across Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond.
