Henrik August Ankarcrona

Henrik August Ankarcrona (1831, 1903) was a Swedish painter known for his military scenes, historical paintings, and portraits. He studied art in Stockholm and later in Düsseldorf, becoming one of Sweden's prominent painters of equestrian and battle subjects during the latter half of the 19th century. His works frequently depicted Swedish royal and military history, earning him recognition at major exhibitions of his era.
