Frank Lloyd Wright Sr. was a pioneering American architect who designed more than 1,000 structures over a 70-year creative career. He championed 'organic architecture,' a philosophy emphasizing harmony between human habitation and the natural world, most famously realized in his masterpiece Fallingwater (1935). Through his Taliesin Fellowship, he mentored hundreds of apprentices and left an enduring influence on twentieth-century architecture worldwide.
