Fernand Toussaint

Fernand Toussaint (1873, 1956) was a Belgian painter and illustrator associated with the 19th century Belgian School. Born in Brussels into an upper-middle-class family, his natural talent for drawing was recognized early and nurtured by his parents. He became known for his elegant figurative works and illustrations reflecting the refined aesthetic sensibilities of his era.
