Emil Fuchs (1866, 1929) was an Austrian-born artist renowned for his portraiture, sculpture, and medallic art, who worked across Europe and the United States. He studied in Vienna and Rome before gaining prominence in London, where he became a favorite portraitist among aristocratic and royal circles, including Queen Victoria. Later emigrating to America, he continued his prolific career as a painter, sculptor, and illustrator.
