Dirck Dircksz. van Santvoort (1610, 1680) was a Dutch Golden Age portrait painter based in Amsterdam, known for his refined and sensitive portrayals of wealthy burghers and their families. A pupil believed to have trained under Rembrandt, he developed a distinctive style characterized by meticulous detail, delicate rendering of fabrics and lace, and warm, naturalistic lighting. His works appear regularly at major auction houses and are held in several European museum collections.
