Chile

Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country located in western South America, stretching along a narrow strip of land between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It is the southernmost country in the world and the closest to Antarctica, with a population of 18.5 million as of the 2024 census. Santiago serves as its capital and largest city, and the country administers several Pacific islands, including Easter Island, while also claiming a portion of Antarctica.
