Charles Gore (1729, 1807) was a British amateur artist and naval officer known for his detailed maritime and topographical watercolors. He traveled extensively through Europe and the Mediterranean, producing meticulous sketches and watercolors documenting landscapes, coastlines, and classical ruins. Gore was a close associate of Sir William Hamilton and contributed illustrations to several notable publications of the era.
