In the grand atrium of the Kunsthaus Wien, the museum that Hundertwasser himself designed and that opened in 1991 in Vienna, visitors still pause in something close to disbelief. The floors undulate beneath their feet. The walls breathe with ceramic tile and overgrown vegetation.
