Adriaen van Stalbemt

Adriaen van Stalbemt was a Flemish painter and engraver born in Antwerp in 1580, known for his versatile output spanning landscapes, mythological scenes, and religious subjects. He was a contemporary and collaborator of Jan Brueghel the Elder, frequently combining figures within elaborate landscape settings in the Flemish tradition. His works appear regularly at major auction houses, often attributed within the circle of distinguished Antwerp masters of the early seventeenth century.
