Pia Camil

Camil is an interdisciplinary artist whose installations, paintings, and performances examine consumer culture, urban space, and economic systems. Works like 'Bara Bara' (constructed from unsold market goods) and striped textile paintings address commerce and failure. She has exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the Museo Tamayo.
