Andrea di Bartolo was an Italian painter, stained glass designer, and illuminator of the Sienese School, primarily known for his devotional religious works. Active between 1389 and 1428 in and around Siena, he carried on the Byzantine-influenced traditions of Sienese painting. He was the son of the renowned Sienese painter Bartolo di Fredi, from whom he inherited his artistic training and style.
