Carmen Argote

Carmen Argote is a Los Angeles-based artist originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, known for her work in performance art and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited in prominent institutions including the Hammer Museum, LACMA, Denver Art Museum, and the National Museum of Mexican Art. She has received notable recognition including the Artadia Award in 2019 and was named LA Weekly's Best Up and Coming Artist in 2016.
