Works

Kwon Young-Woo created meditative works by puncturing, tearing, and layering traditional Korean hanji paper, allowing natural light and shadow to become part of the composition. His process-based approach to paper as both surface and material is fundamental to Dansaekhwa. His works are held by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, and major private collections.
