Grigory Gluckmann (1898, 1973) was a Russian-born French painter known for his elegant depictions of Parisian women, ballet dancers, and bourgeois leisure scenes rendered in a soft, luminous style. He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg before emigrating to Paris following the Russian Revolution, where he became associated with the School of Paris. His works are celebrated for their delicate use of light and refined aesthetic sensibility, frequently appearing at major auction houses including Sotheby's and Christie's.
