A signed Edo period helmet by master craftsman Munetsugu from the 17th-18th century, featuring an impressive sixty-two-plate russet iron bowl with Dutch-style embossed leather on large turnbacks and shakudo crests. The piece includes a fierce-expression face mask with horse hair moustache and silver lacquer teeth.
