A red lacquered iron helmet bowl in the distinctive zunari head-shaped form from the Momoyama-Edo period, featuring an eight-plate construction with a stylized chrysanthemum apex. The piece includes four-tiered neck guards, pale orange braid lacing, and gilt wood forecrests in the form of stylized horns, accompanied by a fitted wood stand.
