inkjet print on canvas
2011
In this work, Simon Denny examines the aesthetics and language of corporate culture, translating the visual vocabulary of trade show displays and business presentations onto large-scale inkjet-printed canvases. The double canvas format mimics the overwhelming, maximalist approach of corporate exhibition booths, where information overload and branding excess become tools of persuasion and spectacle. Denny interrogates the relationship between capitalism, technology, and visual communication, treating the corporate environment as both subject matter and artistic medium.
