This study presents a fragmented compositional approach characteristic of modernist portraiture. The work features partial facial elements, including a stylized eye and mouth rendered in bold graphite lines, alongside geometric drapery suggested through parallel hatching in pink and blue tones. A prominent collar or neckline dominates the right side of the composition, delineated by crisp black contours. The yellow border framing the central image creates a distinct separation between the study and its surrounding paper, establishing the work as a preliminary exploration of form and spatial relationships.
