Joan Miró; and Raoul Dufy
Two lithographs presented together, one by the iconic Catalan surrealist Joan Miró and the other by the celebrated French Fauvist Raoul Dufy, each showcasing the distinct visual language of their respective masters. The Miró impression, annotated "H.C" in pencil as an hors commerce example aside from the edition of 75, is signed and was published by the prestigious Maeght gallery in Paris. The Dufy lithograph, numbered 13/100 in pencil and also bearing the artist's signature, completes this compelling pairing of two giants of 20th-century modern art.
