A dynamic composition of ink and collage on paper, this work by Jean Dubuffet presents a fragmented, energetic vision of a public garden populated by two figures. True to Dubuffet's Art Brut sensibility, the landscape and figures are rendered with raw, gestural lines and layered textures that reject refined technique in favor of primal, childlike expression. The collaged elements disrupt conventional pictorial space, transforming an everyday urban scene into a vibrant, almost primitive visual language.
