The work employs the traditional printmaking technique of multi colour screenprinting on wove paper, presented as a full sheet, creating a dialogue between Old Master painting and contemporary digital culture. By appropriating and deconstructing one of art history's most recognizable images, Invader engages with themes of reproducibility, image degradation, and the democratization of high art through mass media and digital reproduction.
