A raw and visceral image created through the collaboration of painter Jenny Saville and photographer Glen Luchford, *Closed Contact #14* depicts a female figure pressed against a glass surface, distorting and flattening the flesh into an unsettling, almost abstract form. The work challenges conventional representations of the body, transforming skin and mass into something simultaneously intimate and alienating. Through this compression, Saville and Luchford provoke questions about beauty, vulnerability, and the physical weight of human existence.
