Comprising 68 cast coconuts fitted with electrical wiring and light bulbs, GuytonWalker's *dimensions variable* transforms an organic, tropical form into an uncanny industrial object. The work plays with themes of mass production and natural mimicry, as the repeated casting process renders each coconut simultaneously identical and strange. Glowing from within, the illuminated forms blur the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, the familiar and the surreal.
