Pitzutziya
A monumental photograph capturing the bustling interior of a small Israeli convenience store, or "pitzutziya," teeming with customers and goods in a scene that feels simultaneously ordinary and theatrically alive. Frydlender employs his signature technique of digitally compositing multiple images taken over an extended period of time, creating a seamless yet impossibly dense moment frozen in a single frame. The result is a richly layered portrait of everyday Israeli life, where the mundane act of shopping becomes a vivid social document.
