Yeesookyung

Yeesookyung creates sculptures by assembling fragments of discarded Korean ceramics with gold leaf in her Translated Vase series, transforming failure into beauty through visible repair. Her work references Korean ceramic traditions and Japanese kintsugi while creating entirely new hybrid forms. She has exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design and international museums.
