Will McBride

Will McBride (1931, 2015) was an American photographer and artist based in Germany, best known for his candid, humanistic photography that captured postwar European life, youth culture, and social change. He gained international recognition through his work for Twen magazine in the 1960s, where his intimate and often provocative images helped define a new visual language for editorial photography. His work blurred the boundaries between photojournalism and fine art, and he remains a significant figure in 20th-century photography.
