Vladimir Dubossarsky (born 1964) and Alexander Vinogradov (born 1963) are a Moscow-based collaborative duo who have worked together since 1994, creating large-scale figurative paintings that blend Soviet-era imagery with Western pop culture and mass media aesthetics. Their work critically engages with post-Soviet identity, nostalgia, and the collision of socialist realist tradition with contemporary consumer culture, often featuring idealized figures in utopian or ironic scenarios. Considered pioneers of the Moscow conceptualist scene and Russian neo-pop, they have exhibited widely in major international institutions and art fairs.
