Works
Vivan Sundaram worked in painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, addressing political violence, consumer culture, and historical memory. His major works included 'Memorial' (a multimedia installation on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots) and 'Trash,' which transformed urban waste into sculpture. He co-founded the radical artist group Safdar Hashmi Memorial Trust (SAHMAT) and exhibited internationally including at the Guggenheim.
