Ron Davis (born 1937) is an American abstract artist best known for his pioneering work with shaped canvases and illusionistic geometric paintings developed in the late 1960s. Associated with the Los Angeles art scene, he created large-scale works using polyester resin and fiberglass that exploited perspective and optical depth, earning him recognition as an important figure in post-minimalist abstraction. His practice later expanded to embrace computer-generated imagery and digital art, making him an early adopter of technology in fine art.
