Prunella Clough

Prunella Clough was a British abstract painter born in 1919 who developed a distinctive style blending abstraction with landscape-influenced forms. Her work evolved from representational subjects to increasingly abstract compositions, and she became known for her subtle use of color and textured surfaces. She was an influential figure in post-war British art until her death in 1999.
