Maxime Maufra

Maxime Maufra was a French Post-Impressionist painter, etcher, and lithographer renowned for his evocative landscape and marine paintings. He was closely associated with the Pont-Aven School and developed a friendship with Paul Gauguin, which greatly influenced his artistic style. His works are celebrated for their vibrant use of color and atmospheric depictions of the Breton coast and Normandy countryside.
