Mandy El-Sayegh

Mandy El-Sayegh (born 1985, Malaysia) is a London-based British-Malaysian artist known for her densely layered paintings and installations that weave together text, imagery, and material to explore themes of the body, language, systems of knowledge, and socio-political structures. Her canvases often incorporate fragments of newsprint, medical diagrams, handwriting, and gestural mark-making, creating palimpsestic surfaces that resist singular readings.
