Louis Majorelle (1859, 1926) was a renowned French decorator and furniture designer celebrated for his mastery of the Art Nouveau style. He manufactured his own designs in the tradition of the French ébéniste, combining skilled craftsmanship with flowing organic forms inspired by nature. A leading figure of the École de Nancy, he formally served as one of its vice-presidents from 1901.
