Line Vautrin

Line Vautrin (1913, 1997) was a French self-taught designer and artist celebrated for her extraordinary gilt bronze and talosel mirrors, compacts, brooches, and objets d'art. Working from her Paris atelier, she developed a highly personal aesthetic that blended surrealist whimsy with exquisite craftsmanship, often incorporating reflective glass mosaic into her signature talosel resin pieces. Her work commands significant premiums at major auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips, where her mirrors and jewelry regularly achieve five- and six-figure results.
