Jan Brueghel the Younger (1601, 1678) was a Flemish painter and the son of Jan Brueghel the Elder, continuing his father's celebrated tradition of highly detailed flower paintings, allegorical landscapes, and cabinet pictures. He trained under his father and worked closely with other leading Antwerp masters, often collaborating on multi-figure compositions. His works are regularly featured at major auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams, commanding significant prices for his richly ornate floral still lifes and allegorical scenes.
