Ivan Semenovich Kulikov

Ivan Semenovich Kulikov (1875, 1941) was a Russian realist painter and a student of Ilya Repin at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. He was known for his vivid genre scenes, portraits, and depictions of peasant life in the Murom region, capturing the traditions and costumes of rural Russia with exceptional detail. His works are held in major Russian museum collections and have appeared regularly at international auction houses specializing in Russian fine art.
