Henri Deluermoz

Henri Deluermoz (1876, 1943) was a French painter and illustrator celebrated for his dynamic depictions of animals, particularly big cats, exotic wildlife, and horses. He studied under prominent animal painters and became known for his vibrant, energetic compositions that captured the power and grace of wild creatures. His works appeared regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and have been sold through major auction houses including Sotheby's and Drouot.
