Hale Tenger

Tenger creates installations, sculptures, and videos that address political violence, social control, and Turkish national identity through metaphorical and often unsettling imagery. Her work has been exhibited at the Istanbul Biennial, Venice Biennale, and documenta. She is collected by Tate, Centre Pompidou, and Istanbul Modern.
