Haas Brothers

The Haas Brothers are the collaborative duo of twin brothers Nikolai and Simon Haas, born in Austin, Texas. They studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and began working together professionally in Los Angeles in 2010. Their work spans furniture design, sculpture, and decorative arts, characterized by a distinctive aesthetic that blends organic forms, surrealist humor, vibrant colors, and meticulous craftsmanship. The brothers are known for their use of unconventional materials including hand-dyed wool, bronze, carved wood, beads, and various textiles, often incorporating elements that reference both natural forms and fantastical creatures. The Haas Brothers gained international recognition for their whimsical, often provocative sculptural furniture pieces that blur the boundaries between fine art and functional design.
