Ha Chong-Hyun

Ha is a founding member of Dansaekhwa, creating works by pushing oil paint through the back of coarse hemp canvas in his 'Conjunction' series since the 1970s. His process-intensive practice emphasizes materiality and labor. His work has been featured at the Venice Biennale and collected by major museums including the Guggenheim.
