Giulio Campi was an Italian Renaissance painter and architect born in Cremona around 1502, the eldest son of Galeazzo Campi and founder of the influential Campi family of artists. He trained under Giulio Romano in Mantua, which deeply shaped his Mannerist sensibilities, and later became a leading figure in Cremonese painting. His works include altarpieces, frescoes, and portraits that blend the influence of Raphael, Titian, and Correggio with a distinctly Northern Italian character.
