Emma Talbot

Emma Talbot is a British artist known for her introspective, narrative-driven works that combine drawing, painting, and digital animation to explore themes of consciousness, time, aging, and the inner life. Her practice often features hand-drawn figures rendered in ink and watercolor, accompanied by text that weaves together personal and universal reflections on human experience. Talbot gained significant international recognition when she was shortlisted for and won the Max Mara Art Prize for Women in 2021, leading to a major project developed with the Whitechapel Gallery in London.
