Elisée Maclet (1881, 1962) was a French Post-Impressionist painter best known for his charming depictions of Montmartre, Parisian street scenes, and floral still lifes. Self-taught and closely associated with the bohemian artistic community of Montmartre, he befriended figures such as Utrillo and Suzanne Valadon. His work is characterized by a delicate, lyrical quality and muted palette that captures the intimate atmosphere of early 20th-century Paris.
