'Circle of Pietro Testa' is an attribution term used by auction houses and art historians to describe works produced by anonymous artists who were closely associated with, trained under, or strongly influenced by the Italian Baroque painter and printmaker Pietro Testa (1612, 1650). These works share stylistic and compositional characteristics with Testa's known output but cannot be definitively attributed to his hand. Such designations are common in the Old Masters market to acknowledge proximity to a known master without asserting direct authorship.
