Charlie Dye (1906, 1972) was an American illustrator and painter celebrated for his vivid depictions of the American West, particularly cowboy life, rodeos, and ranch scenes. He contributed extensively to major publications including The Saturday Evening Post and worked closely with the Cowboy Artists of America, of which he was a founding member. His dynamic compositions and authentic portrayals of Western subjects earned him lasting recognition as one of the premier Western illustrators of the 20th century.
