Banks Violette

Banks Violette creates sculptures, drawings, and installations that reference heavy metal subculture, church burnings, and nihilistic aesthetics using materials like salt, black pigment, and metal. His work explores death, violence, and outsider culture through stark monochromatic forms. He has exhibited at the Whitney Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
