Andrea Previtali

Andrea Previtali (c. 1480, 1528) was an Italian Renaissance painter from Bergamo, known for his devotional works, portraits, and altarpieces. A pupil of Giovanni Bellini in Venice, he blended Venetian colorism with the influence of Giorgione, creating luminous and intimate compositions. His works frequently appear at major auction houses, with religious panels and small-format devotional pictures among his most sought-after pieces.
