Andrea Belvedere was an Italian Baroque painter, known by the title 'Abate,' who worked primarily in Naples during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. He was celebrated for his exquisite still life paintings, particularly floral compositions, which brought him considerable acclaim among collectors and patrons. His refined technique and sensitivity to natural detail placed him among the leading still life painters of the Neapolitan school.
