Adam Buck (1759, 1833) was an Irish portrait miniaturist and watercolourist renowned for his elegant depictions of fashionable society figures in the Neoclassical style. He worked extensively in Cork before relocating to London, where he gained considerable recognition for his delicate, refined portraits of women and children. Buck also produced illustrations and published a notable work on ancient Greek vases, reflecting his deep interest in classical antiquity.
